WHAT IS VIKING BUCK$?
Viking Buck$ is a convenient debit account right on your Augustana ID card. Once you’ve deposited funds into your account, you’ll be able to swipe your card at participating locations on-campus and at a variety of neighborhood businesses near the campus. Take advantage of the ease of using a pre-loaded account to make purchases and be eligible for discounts and special promotions.
HOW DO I GET A VIKING BUCK$ ACCOUNT? DO I NEED A SEPARATE CARD?
Viking Buck$ is an account located on back of your ID card. You don’t need to open your account ― every enrolled student and all faculty and staff have a Viking Buck$ account, it’s automatic. Just add money to your ID card and you are ready to go!
HOW DO I ADD VIKING BUCK$ TO MY ID CARD?

WHERE CAN I USE MY VIKING BUCK$?
Click the “Participating Locations” tab on the left side of this page for an up to date listing of businesses who accept Viking Buck$. Check back often to see our growing list of neighborhood merchants who value the opportunity to support Augustana College.
WHAT IF I DON’T USE MY VIKING BUCK$ BY THE END OF THE YEAR?
Not to worry! Your Viking Buck$ stay with you. Your account rolls over from semester to semester and even year to year. Be sure to review the “About Viking Buck$” tab for details about the program’s terms.
WHAT HAPPENS TO MY VIKING BUCK$ IF I LOSE MY ID CARD?
As long as you report a lost, misplaced or damaged ID card to Campus Safety (located in the Morrison Commons), your Viking Buck$ are protected.
